Website Foundations
A guided website mentorship supporting artists and creative practitioners
Content-first clarity
We start with your words, structure and priorities — so you’re building from a place of clarity, not designing blind or second-guessing every decision. You’ll develop a clear understanding of what your website needs to say and how it supports your creative practice.
Guided, collaborative mentorship
This isn’t a checklist you’re handed and left to work through alone. The mentorship is hands-on and collaborative — I’m there to help shape decisions, unblock sticking points and build alongside you, step by step, as your ideas take form.
A calm path to launch
There’s a clear beginning, middle and end to the process — with support all the way through to publishing, handover and feeling confident managing your site independently afterwards.
Clarity first. Design second. Support all the way through.
You know you need a website — but the content, the decisions, the structure, the tech… it can quickly start to feel like a lot.
Website Foundations is a guided website mentorship designed to support artists and creative practitioners who want a clear, professional online presence without overwhelm. Rather than rushing into design, we slow things down just enough to get the foundations right — developing your content, structure and direction first — before bringing everything together in a focused, collaborative build.
This is a supportive, human process that meets you where you are, builds confidence as you go, and helps you finish what you’ve started — with clarity, structure and ongoing guidance throughout.

How It Works
-
We begin with a relaxed, focused mentoring session to get clear on:
Your goals for your creative practice
Your audience
Your essential pages
Your website structure
What your website needs to do to support your work
You’ll leave this session with a clear plan and shared understanding of what you’re building — and why.
-
You’ll work through a guided, content-first framework at a steady, manageable pace, with ongoing mentoring and support, including:
Weekly email check-ins
Light 1:1 support via email
My How to Prepare Your Website Content guide
Page prompts and structure templates
Optional AI-friendly copy guidance
Optional pre-recorded Squarespace basics videos
Each week focuses on one clear section, so the process feels supportive and achievable — not overwhelming.
-
The week before your Design Day, you’ll share everything you’ve developed so far.
I’ll review your content and structure, suggest refinements, and ensure everything is clear, consistent and ready to build — setting you up for a smooth, focused Design Day.
-
This is where everything comes together.
We work side-by-side (online or in person) to build your Squarespace website using the content and structure you’ve developed through the mentorship. You’re involved throughout, with decisions made collaboratively as the site takes shape.

A cohesive, intuitive site flow
